Favorite PV?

Well, the topic kinda says it all xD;; I was just wondering what everyone's favorite PV is and why~~

My favorite would have to be Turii ~Panta Rei~ <3<3 The way the song and the video flows, I just love it soooo much! >w< I wish I could even do half of the dance that the People of the Stars can do! That would be magnificent~ ^-^

Also, the art by Maya is just...beautiful ;~~; I want more Maya art just by typing this now.. Well, off to find it I go~!! I'll enjoy hearing your guys' favorites as well~~ :3

I actually have one single favorite surprisingly! And that would be Kagachi~ <3 <3 everything works together perfectly in it. I love the music, Maya's art is absolutely gorgeous, I love how the coloring is done, the animation is beautiful, and of course, it's all about Gijiri~! I love the story it tells, of his past in Jakotsu~ now if only Minawa appeared in it! xD

The only way my favorite pv would probably change is if a Wenkamui pv was made...and seriously, why isn't there one yet?! To see the Wenkamui chapter illustrated in a pv...that would be the most wonderful thing ever!! It would be all about Gijiri and Ido~~ <3 *dreams of a Wenkamui pv*

Malchut, remind me to show you Maya's artbook!! It's filled with her lovely art, and is probably my favorite artbook, it's nice and thick too~ heheh, I still want even more Maya art though!!

Ohhh mine is definitely between Blind Justice and Ristaccia.
But I choose Ristaccia Pv because there are so many creative elements in that pv that you don't see in other pv out there!
Like the symbolism and how they crafted the scenes are just so creative an amazing!
Even though MAYA only did half of the animation, half still from studio 4 degree C, which is amazing studio!

Turii, if I'm not mistaken is not done by MAYA?
Maybe she did the character design (and maybe storyboard like she did with ristaccia?) but I heard from somewhere the animation is done by studio Gonzo?

Regardless still a beautiful pv though.

Oh really? Huh, I'll have to look into that. I'm just going by what i was told by Ido xD It looks a lot like her art though!! And oooh~ Ristaccia~~ I greatly enjoyed that one simply from all the characters that it had in it~ ^^ That sword dance scene was so well done!

Oh my. My answer is like a mix of all of you all! Let's see... My favorite PV is Blind Justice.... I think? I can't desire between that and Rasion.... BUT, like Ido said, if they were to make a Wenkamui PV with MAYA's art, it would defiantly knock off one of the two...

Seriously, when was the last PV out? Kagachi? Geez that's like almost a year ago now!

Well, we also got the OVA this year too, didn't we? So maybe that's why activity has been a little slower. I do hope they continue the OVA series, Sigma and Lien should be up next if I'm not mistaken and I'd love to see more of that story unfold. :3

I'd like to see a PV for Wenkamui, but I also really want one for L'avideeeee. >w<

Has it already been that long since Kagachi? That's so sad.... but you're probably right Hannes, with the OVA... I'd also love to learn more about Sigma and Lien's chapter, it was so interesting, but yeah, there is really only the written chapter and Zeta PV for it... more would be nice~

L'avide is probably the PV I want second most, because we know so little about it! Seriously, a blank island on the map, and a beautiful song, it's such a mystery... (Oh wait, or maybe Ark Ouroboros, but I don't know how well a song like that would work for a PV...)

There's no new PVs of this year yet. But I bet it's coming out around late summer or early fall with the new Beatmania IIDX release! x3

Yea, PV for Wenkamui! Lol, so many people wanting a Wenkamui PV, it would be great if they actually did make one. ; w ;

Hmmm. If there was a pv for Ark Ouroboros, it would have probably more like L'erisia ~Primary Logic~ feel I would think. But then also a mixture of Zeta touch to it.

Wonder when the next OVA will come out though? Personally, I would like a TV series rather than OVAs, that way, the story can be done in a nicely-even pace as well as touch where the Epic of Zektbach uniqueness is. Alas, budget and popularity. ;w;
Dammit, we have a bunch of boobies sailor uniformed girls series that don't even make sense with no plot points and repeated fanservice, and they still get aired with 12 episodes! Even with another season! It's ridiculous that such a good story like Zektbach doesn't get a chance! Honestly, such a waste! -fume fume- D8<

@mishie: when is the date scheduled for new Beatmania release?

As mishie said, if it is Ark Ourobous, I imagine will be something to be done by SHINO (or was it Shiho?) instead of MAYA. Well then again they do have 2 people in charge of the PV these days, certainly they can dish out more than one PV already (pleaseeeee)
OVA was a bad move since it wasn't done in optimal, in my opinion. That seems to be eating the budget with not so great response coming from fans or no fans. If I remember correctly the publication of Zektbach stuff started to come to real slow pace after that OVA.

I just hope they will still continue Zektbach properly and end it properly. Coming from Konami, I'm afraid if they pull the same move with Zektbach like they did with my fave game 'Suikoden'

Don't really know. I kind of actually guess based on past (latest) other Beatmania IIDX release dates. o3o
Beatmania IIDX 20 Tricoro (or engrish of "Tricolor", lol) should be released maybe around from Sept. - Nov. if they follow the trend from the last 3?
They did have their location testing last April. So it should be well on their way. o3o

Two PVs in one year would be heaven! ;^;

A decent ending would be the best ending we can ask for. Zektbach seems like the kind of story that leans toward an open-ended finale. Either way, hopefully the ending is just good, or satisfying. D:

The OVA was that long ago too? ;_; wow, so long...but yeah, it was only okay, I would like more, or an anime if they were reeeallly well done, but that's probably not going to happen...

Well Wenkamui is sooo perfect for a PV, no wonder everyone wants one <3 I was interested in an Ark Ouroboros PV because I really wanted to see more of the ship, and maybe Joah and L'erisia?

Wow, I've never even thought about Zektbach's end! Yeah, we really do just have to hope for the best.

Memento Mori which is basically a different arrangement of Apocalypse got its own PV, so I think it's more than fair that amazing one like Wenkamui got one too? Not to mention from the story aspect too, Wenkamui got a lot material to be made into PV (that huge wall of text ;3;)

But haha, the fangirl in me kinda wish Trisagion purification prayer got a PV too seeing how Memento Mori got one (I want the PV showing more of Falo and other characters in Novaristla castle, like Theo, Eleonora and even the Agiona people)

@lemishie- That's exactly what I was thinking!! ;_; I was like, yaaay, Kagachi is such a wonderful pv~ and then I heard the drama, and was like yaaay~ Minawa grew up with Gijiri and was there as he burned Jakotsu... then I posted here and was like waaaiiiit.... why no Minawa??

Then maybe all the details weren't decided yet? Because really, there is no good reason he shouldn't be there!!!

I think either they haven't build the idea of Ido is actually Gijiri's childhood buddy, or they just remain secrecy until drama CD. Like they only putting character bio of Ido/Minawa in drama CD only. In the Masinowa booklet its still under Ido only.
Ido character has been made before the Masinowa album because it's listed in the timeline right?
I guess either they hide the fact about minawa/childhood friend or they just wing it and added it in during the making of drama CD to add more depth to Ido's character. (And somehow I kinda betting it is the latter, seeing how they keep changing things lol)

Well I think Zektbach will make a PV according to were the next story arc is going to be. So maybe it will be a Wenkamui PV.... Or a L'avide one... Purification prayer would be a nice PV.... But I guess it depends on if Zektbach goes back to the Matin/Nox arc or whatever. But an Ark Ouroboros PV... That could be out of the randomness...? I personally couldn't see him go back to his original album. Then again, there was Memto Mori... GAH! ZEKTBACH!! With the introduction of A.Millia this just adds more questions to what PV will come next!

My favorite PV is Raison d'etre, I just love everything about it.

On the which PV next, hmmmm, how about all of them? Um, while I'd love to get more of a video for Zeta other than that screensaver we got. I'd honestly love to L'avide get a PV I'm really looking forward to finding out more about that part of the map.

Regarding Turii PV, I tried to do some digging and can confirm now that the unclear source about it being done by Gonzo is wrong. MAYA did do the movie for Turii.
However some of the animation in Ristaccia was done by other studio, this is confirmed as it is written in the puzzle artbook as well.

Ah thanks for finding that out! It had me so confused thinking it wasn't MAYA xDll And recently, I find my shuffle going to Kagachi a lot more...ITS A SIIIGN. (Not sure a sign of what, but I'm sure I'll figure it out~)

Favorite PV would either be Raison d'etre or Kagachi, in terms of overall quality

But I also love the way the story is being told in the Ristaccia PV

Well the Shamshr dance one wasn't made by MAYA and from what I've heard, Konami it's self. In the video, the 'animation' isn't a frame animation like MAYA does. It's a technique called 'teching'. Where they just move a certain part of the image... And then there's the 3-D shinanagins. Overall, if we didn't have MAYA's PV's to look to, this would've been a good PV, but since we do, it's just not in the Zektbach spirit.
