| Alright, so... I previous posted this in the Chapter 2 thread, but wanted to post it in the most appropriate spot of this site. (Why did I put that there?) SO... The theory is technically something that evolved after reading chapter 2. After the first entry on the stone tablet "A.D.1906, Ludwig Eduard Boltzmann killed himself at Duino." I thought that the ruins probably came from earth (As did most people). So, this is what I have of the theory. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now, The whole premise is, that the world of Aria Te L'aria, is a computer simulation. everything is a program, and (I think, I'm not quite sure yet) that the Ristaccia gem is like a backdoor or something to that effect. Now, it says, that the 8 races wandered the land, without emotion, or the knowledge that others existed. They just... were, to pit it into better words. And when the Ristaccia gems appeared, they gained knowledge, and emotions. The Ristaccia gem, is like, part of the simulation. Like a test of some sorts. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Anyway, that is my take on it. Feel free, to discus with me, or disprove. I'm happy with all insight | |

| It is one of the possibilities out there since the forever-up-there-since-the-beginning-of-the-series question is what is Ristaccia and its purpose? The prologue and the extra notes (from the scientists) could heavily support the theory.
Though I personally kinda hope it's not that kind of scenario as I feel that it's taking the easy way out and not much of a twist really. I have high expectation for something much bigger from Zektbach. | |

| You do have a point, lemishie. And I do agree about something bigger than my theory. I don't necessarily whole heartily believe my theory, but I think it is possible. | |
