Hi all,
Below is my attempt on transcribing Kagachi lyrics.
I am in the middle of trying to translate it as well, but I will edit the post when I finished the translation because omg this lyrics is so hard to translate (many words and kanji are the ones that basically rarely used and it is using the old language format so I will need to research more and all, sorry ><; )
EDIT: translation attempt added. I get some help from friend and taking hints about the lyric from
Kukulcan's blog as well. Again I apologise in advance for the novice level of my translation and also the poor grammar/choice of words too. Feel free to correct, cheers~
蛇神葦原に鳴く
風は息吹
コノハナ咲かす
畏み白す
カガチマガヒト
比禮を由良ひて
吾が手に威りし
アメノホアカリ
縁払う
カムがかるものの宿命
火之色の衣
嘆く思ひを
たばねしものよ
聞くは風の音

Translation's attempt:As the wind howls on fields
Konohana gracefully bloom
The cursed Kagachi
sways the shawl*
Govern on my hand
Amenohoakari
Cutting the bond*
The fate of the one possessed by God*
Scorching coloured garment*
You who are bind by sorrow
Listen to the sound of wind
Note:
*"magahito" can also be taken as Evil person, but I think in the context of Kagachi's story I use 'cursed' instead.
*Shawl: from Kukulcan's note, this is basically the type ancient garment who is usually worn by female?
*bond: "縁" "enishi" is a link/bond between two people, usually to indicate fated bond between male and female.
*this part is in all katakana, so it could either be "one who hunts God" or the one I used, as Kukulcan noted. Which in the context of Gijiri's story it is most likely refer to him being consumed by the Snake God.
*I used Scorching colour, but in literal translation it could also be 'fire's colour', obviously refer to Gijiri's red clothes.
