Zektbach Cosplay

Oh yeah, I've always been wondering, how did you make your Malchut wig? It's so strange looking and so many colors. I'm not really interested in cosplaying her (don't really have the loli-type body), but that wig perplexes me and I just have to know!

I have a number of longer wigs (I kind of keep most of the wigs in my group at my house so they don't get lost). What I do is brush them out, braid them (if they're long enough), and then place them individually in ziplock bags and press all the air out before sealing it. Keeping it vacuum sealed until use almost always keeps it from tangling. And it makes it easy to store/label!

Ahh yeah, I kept them in zip bag as well. It's just when you wear them for shoot and all then its tangled quickly and brushing them up can sometimes get on my nerves (why can't you be all silky alll the timeee ;3;)

Malchut wig is actually easy, just need patience in waiting for drying time and all (if I can do it anyone can!)
It really is just base wig (pink) and 2 different extensions that you need to 'sacrifice' by painting on them. You can sew the extensions to the base wig, but I just pin them since I want the base wig to remain intact for other possible wear. If you pin it securely it is fine, I spin and jumped plenty of times during my photoshoot an it was fine. I need to remake the extension of Turii malchut as when I made it I thought from Turii video the colour is white, turned out to be pale blonde.... OTL

Lol, I thought having short hair putting wigs makes it all easy though? I have long hair so it's difficult for me to put on wigs too (gotta tie it all and put it in a bun, sometimes if it's a short wig, it really stands out the hair bun bulge ><iiiii ). xD;;;;;

Yes, my long pink wig can't be really taken very well by me (then again, it was also a cheap Halloween one anyway). ; w ;
Hell, I can't even take care my real long hair properly! It's always so dry. Q_____Q
And the only other long wig I own is the new blonde one for Hannes. I fear for its life fading away rapidly for it shows signs of tangling right now.....
Question: Do you guys wash your wigs with warm water or cool water? I get mixed reviews of this and I would like to occasionally give my little wiggys baths. LOL.

Malchut wigs = A lot of extensions.
Though I only used very small extensions. Did you used thicker extensions, Aomarine?
(Loli body = the only reason I can be proud being flat-chested, short, and underage looking. -lolsob- ;w; )

Yup, I actually bought a set extensions that came in different widths. Then I just fold them into the width desire an even pile them into one thick extension. Hence painting the stripe is just a matter of adding layers whenever you see it's not coating through the layers properly.

Right now, my real hair is a curly hair that reaches almost my ass and I'm still able to wear wigs without it looking weird.
If you make your hair into a braid and wrap it over the head it balances it instead of just a ponytail and it creates the small "mountain".

Since I have a wig with two long ponytails ( OHHH THE TANGLES. THE TANGLES orz ) I had to find a normal way to wear the wig even though I have lots of hair XD

Ooh, nice Nox cosplay~! And Matin, I always love seeing all the photoshoots you do, they look like a lot of fun, and the photos always turn out so nice~ L'erisia was my first long-hair wig, and yeah, it tangled so easily, I kept a comb with me the whole time I was at the convention and had a friend help me comb it. I think it still has a few small tangles ;_; Oh, I haven't been keeping my wigs in bags, probably a good idea...
I think I might try that braid tip too, as I plan to grow out my hair~

Oh but I do understand of wanting to twirl around as L'erisia (guilty as charged as well)
Lately in almost all my shoots there is always attempt to get nice twirl, jumping or just plain action shoot XD;

With L'erisia I think it was an attempt to make her looked like flying in grace, (billion photos depicting me landing in the most horrid looking red angel everrrrr lmao)

You got some really nice photos, Matin, I love how in some it looked like you were flying~ And that one that you combined with the photo of Malchut, so it is L'erisia and Malchut on opposite sides looks really awesome

I think all of us like twirling (I have yet to do it for a Zektbach cosplay but I will!!! ;^; ). When you and Malchut do cosplay as Ido and Gijiri, you should do a twirling-fest~ (as a crack!photo). <3333333

@Ido: Ahhh thank you so much~~ I think the most successful flying looking L'erisia photo of mine will be this one.

In the subject of Ido/Gijiri, well what do you guys think Wenkamui looked like?
Randomly I was giving a thought about which location to pick or find for Ido even though the cosplay is not gonna be done for long time yet. Looking for shoot location can really be a pain lol

Anyways, I HAVEN'T COSPLAYED IN MY LIFE. So... I would love your help. I do want to cosplay as L'erisia. Were did you guys get the dress? I know it's pretty simple but still... I'm afraid I'm going to mess up. I'll ask my friend to help me, because she has cosplayed before.

as for Wenkamui, I've also been wondering what kind of place it is. Hmmm, it's said to be a wasteland, right? And after the Kagachijin's war with the Gadena, it's probably not all that nice of a place, full of ruins... I guess I've always pictured it as a flat, barren land. Oh, but the map seems to show what looks like a bunch of craters or something there.As for the Majin village, I really don't know at all, I need to think about that!

@L'erisia- I sewed my dress, I used a circle skirt pattern, but wore it as a dress,so it was really flowy (but it used so much fabric! xD) and put elastic in the top, and also used double sided tape to hold it up~

I used to have hair like that (I just chopped it all off for a convention and I was in wig HEAVEN that weekend), and I would put it in two braids, rather than one, and wrap each one around my head so that it made a little 'x' in the back. It really evened everything out and I never had bumps but it was such a paaainnnn to do. DX

Oh, I do braid it into a bun, but huh, I think I'll try out the 2 braids/x bun idea next time. :3

Yea, I think Wenkamui is pretty much somewhat a definition of barren lands. Though I also always thought it would be some kind of desert but then has this canyon with caves where the Majin experiment is held. o3o
Although that sounds more appropriate for the Azuelgatt lands and near the Ristaccia Ruins.
The Majin village? Maybe some huts? Like made out hay/sticks? Like an upside down bird nest!
What about that ring of rock walls in Wenkamui on the map? Or is it just a significant display of Ido's "magic seal"?

Actually, has anyone ever considered cosplaying Shamshir? xD
I mean I only saw one or two people that actually did cosplay as her... ;;;;

I have been wondering about the flower in Kagachi video too. It looked like Daisy but then I'm not quite sure really lol.

Actually with that circle of rock thing, I have been wondering about that about Wenkamui.
There is actually a location where I shoot L'erisia that looked like that stone circle thing. Problem is we need a stroke of luck for that section to be empty for shoot, usually it is full of kids and family (even couple) sitting or play around there during weekend.

I'm quite surprised with the lack of people wanting to cosplay Shamshir despite there are quite a few of her fans out there. (There are even only like.. 2 or 3 of Shamshir cosplay in cure too?)
I ever considering cosplaying her to make friend happy, but drop the idea straight away since well I'm not that big fan of her to begin with, my body type just doesn't work for Shamshir and if I have to choose I would rather do Empress Hannes/standard Hannes (I have been liking her empress figure than her sister figure though, it seems more cool and 'menacing')

Then again considering how easy Joah cosplay is, no one consider cosplaying Joah here?
My friend (did Nox, Gijiri and Kukaru) is interested with Joah too.

I also have been wondering about that stone circle, it looks like it could be the walls of a village, but also a seal, I don't know... Oh, lemishie, I like your ideas about the Majin village~ and Matin, I kinda want to see that place that looks like the stone circle~

The only cosplays im planning are Gijiri and Ido, but actually, I have a friend who wants to cosplay Shamshir because she, and I quote, "is black and has a sexy belly" xD

I have friend that love Shamshir design and interested in cosplaying her, unfortunately due to life commitment she is unable to do so, and another who loves her character but doesn't want to cosplay her because of the very revealing outfit ^^;

Yeah, I imagine a lot of people shy away from cosplaying Shamshir because of all the tummy/legs showing. I know I wouldn't be comfortable in it! XD

But but, Turii!Malchut is pretty much the same concerning tummy and leg showing, really....
